1920s Kamaka Guitar. Beautiful and extremely rare 1920s Kamaka Guitar set up in Hawaiian-style lap steel play. This gorgeous piece is only one of a few guitars handcrafted by Kamaka.
Kamaka guitars are tremendously rare and highly collectible Hawaiian instruments. This one is handcrafted in the spanish style construction out of gorgeous Hawaiian curly Koa wood face, back, sides, neck, and fretboard. The instrument also boasts an elegant rope marquetry rosette and top purfling, bridge pin set up, and original geared side tuners.
I have only seen three of these in my life and this one is by far the best example of a vintage Kamaka guitar that I have ever come across.
