The Kanile’a ‘Willie K.’ super tenor model was designed with both the musician and aesthetics in mind and is a wonderful instrument and a stellar example of the finest work of Kanile’a ukuleles. The Koa is from a private reserve at the custom shop and is even more stunning when seen in person. Premium golden colored master grade Hawaiian Koa face, back, & sides with dark vertical streaking in the wood, musician’s grade ebony wood fretboard with Willie K signature between the 12th and 15th frets and an ebony wood bridge. A matching ebony wood top binding and headstock veneer has also been added in keeping with the overall theme of the instrument. The neck is made of Honduran mahogany wood neck for added stability and a classic TRU bracing system are a few more wonderful attributes to this gorgeous ukulele.

The action is set well and the instrument is very comfortable to play. This gorgeous uke also has exceptional volume and sustain.
