A wonderful and extremely rare 1920s Martin (8-string) 3M Taropatch Ukulele handcrafted by C.F. Martin & Co. of Nazareth, PA. This historical and rare Martin taropatch ukulele was handcrafted of a Mahogany wood top, back, sides, and bridge with a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard.  Five-ply concentric ivroid rosette and three-ply top purfling with matching ivroid top and back binding, mustache inlay at the butt of the instrument, and “doubled-up” diamond shaped abalone shell position markers on 5, 7, and 10. 8-string tuning configuration for accompaniment

1960s Martin 3M Soprano Ukulele

Circa 1960s. Vintage Martin 3M Ukulele. Here is a very rare 1960’s Martin 3M (Mahogany Model) Soprano Ukulele handcrafted in Nazareth, PA. Classic mahogany face, back and sides with celluloid binding on top and back –  discoloration on the binding as the instrument aged over the last 60+ years. Ebony fretboard and C.F. Martin & Co decal on headstock. There is also a C.F. Martin & Co stamp on the inside of the soundhole as well. Minor play wear but overall in wonderful original condition. The is not the reissue uke that has somewhat flooded the market.
