This instrument was constructed of gorgeous quarter-sawn Hawaiian Koa wood on face, back, and sides with a Koa wood fingerboard and bridge. The instrument remains in beautiful original condition with some dark streaks on the soundboard and back of the instrument. A beautiful 1920s Mossman soprano ukulele handcrafted by George Mossman out of Hawaii. This beautiful ukulele was handcrafted with a Hawaiian Koa wood top, back, sides, and neck and has been adorned with beautiful wood marquetry top binding, fingerboard inlay, and matching fingerboard strip. Internal rattling perhaps from a lose brace, sharp frets, and some cracking. Beautiful example of an early deluxe Mossman ukulele. With some work this could be a lovely player ukulele but this one is being sold “as is”. Perfect for a Hawaiian theme home decor as well
