Custom Moore Bettah Ukulele – ‘Cutaway’. Beautiful custom tenor ukulele handcrafted by master luthier Chuck Moore of the Big Island, HI. Chuck handcrafts some of not only the most aesthetically pleasing ukuleles available on the market but also professional recording level instruments for both the professional musician and recreational player.

This wonderful tenor ukulele is crafted from gorgeous master grade Hawaiian Koa wood top, back, and sides, macassar ebony fretboard, bridge, top and back binding with a stylish matching end graph and heel cap. The neck is carved from Spanish cedar wood and is carbon fiber reinforced for added stability. The top, back, and headstock have an elegant white purfling for classic appeal. This beautiful piece also boasts a classy abalone shell rosette.

The theme inlay for the piece is of a Hawaiian ‘nalu’ or ‘wave’ inlay of abalone shell on headstock. This is actually the theme logo for Moore Bettah ukuleles and it is a stylized ‘M’ for Moore Bettah. There are matching abalone shell fretboard position markers on positions 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, and 15. The uke also comes equipped with a gorgeous venetian style cutaway for quick and easy reach high up on the fretboard and has grover open geared tuners for precise tuning and hours of fun. Bone nut and saddle. Mohawk lacquer high gloss finish.

Rich and complex tones with excellent sustain, clarity, and projection. Side port for monitor-like clarity and projection. The instrument is very well balanced tonally all the way up the neck and spot on intonation as well. Highly recommended player piece. And this is as good as it gets!
