Beautiful Pre-fire Maui Music Concert Ukulele in used original condition. Solid Koa face, back, and sides with rosewood fretboard. These “Pre-fire” Maui Music models are amongst the most desirable Maui Music ukuleles. Incredible tone! Nice lows and crisp highs. Excellent projection and action is set very well.
There is some slight dipping below the soundhole and above the bridge when you look from the side of the instrument but it is totally stable and common on older instruments. The tones on this uke are boarder-line recording level in my opinion. Bright tones, excellent clarity, and a sustain that just keeps on going. This instrument was owned by a local musician who used it as his ‘backyard jam’ uke so it plays incredibly well.
