Preowned. 2017. Custom Moore Bettah Tenor Ukulele. This beautiful tenor ukulele was handcrafted by master luthier Chuck Moore from the Big Island, Hawaii. Chuck is known for creating some of the most aesthetically pleasing ukuleles on the market, making them ideal for both professional musicians and recreational players alike.

This exceptional and incredibly rare Moore Bettah tenor ukulele is made from a stunning set of Hawaiian koa wood used for the face, back, and sides of the instrument. There is a slight pin-curl in the wood that can be seen in certain angles when holding the instrument. It features a Gabon Ebony wood fretboard and bridge, along with curly Hawaiian Koa wood top and back binding, a bound fingerboard, and a bound headstock. The design includes subtle black-red-black accent lines on the soundboard, back, sides, fingerboard, neck side, and headstock. The neck is hand-carved from Honduras Mahogany wood and reinforced with carbon fiber for added stability. It showcases a beautiful curly Hawaiian Koa wood inlay on the rosette, along with a three-piece Hawaiian Koa and ebony headstock veneer that features a “Hawaiian Hibiscus” inlay of stained boxwood. Hawaiian Koa wood position markers inlaid on 5, 7, 10, 12, and 15 with white side-of-neck markers for quick reference. The instrument also includes a side sound port, providing a ‘monitor-like’ effect when playing in higher positions on the neck. The classic headstock design complements the elegant feel of this custom Moore Bettah tenor ukulele. The instrument is also equipped with professional Gotoh UPT tuners that allow for quick and precise adjustments. Neck strap button and an LR Baggs Five-O pickup for quick plug-and-play with a beautiful high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish.

Tonally, this beautiful ukulele produces a classic Hawaiian koa wood midrange bark, offering excellent sustain, clarity, and projection.
