A very rare find from the Kamaka family of instruments, this beautiful custom Kamaka tenor ukulele boasts a gorgeous set of master grade Hawaiian Koa wood on the face, back, and sides. 14-fret joint to the body with 18 overall frets to the soundhole. Jet black musicians grade Gabon Ebony wood fingerboard, bridge and a matching Ebony wood headstock plate in keeping with the elegant theme of the instrument. Beautiful ʻwaveʻ inlay on the headstock with Hawaiian Honu or ʻsea turtleʻ inlay for position markers on positions 3, 5, 7 , 10, 12, and 15 for quick reference. Macassar ebony top and back wood binding, and a subtle top, back, and sides blue purfling line, contrasting the natural golden hues of the Hawaiian Koa wood body. Paua or abalone shell top purfling inlay and matching abalone shell rosette. Rare figured Hawaiian Koa wood neck. Professional geared tuners for smooth and precise tuning. Nitrocellulose gloss finish.
