A beautiful Custom Pahu Kani ‘Bird of Paradise’ Long Scale Tenor Ukulele handcrafted on the Waianae coastline by one of Oahu’s finest luthiers in custom ukuleles, Manny Halican. This custom ukulele was just completed by Ukulele Guild of Hawaii luthier, Manny, and incorporates a wonderful example of a fully unique and contemporary design with great playability and a full range of tones.

Ukulele Guild of Hawaii (UGH) luthier – Manny Halican. This special tenor ukulele was handcrafted with meticulous care and exemplifies the beautiful pairing of coveted Brazilian Rosewood and the natural beauty of Hawaii with Hawaiian Koa wood. Master grade Brazilian Rosewood back and sides with a gorgeous Hawaiian curly Koa wood soundboard and polished ABS pick guard on the upper bout. Hawaiian Koa wood top and back binding with Gabon Ebony wood fretboard and bridge and a ‘Bird of Paradise’ inlaid of reconstructed stone on the fretboard. Red top and back line with a white side matching wood purfling/pin-striping. The exaggerated side sound port on the waist of the instrument allows for maximum excitement on the soundboard with no traditional top porting. This enables the player to receive the full benefit of hearing all that this instrument offers tonally with the sound firing entirely upwards towards the player for a monitor-like experience. Two-piece laminated tiger Maple wood neck with a Hawaiian curly Koa wood stringer for added strength. Slotted headstock with professional geared Stealth tuners. ‘PK’ logo inlay on the headstock and an extended 18-inch scale from the zero fret to the saddle of the instrument. Mirror-like high gloss finish.
