Custom ukuleles by Halekoa Ukulele. Beautiful custom Halekoa tenor ukulele handcrafted by Steve Williams of Honolulu, HI in gently played condition. Constructed of gorgeous Hawaiian Koa wood on back and sides and cedar wood top for warm and well rounded tones. Ebony fretboard and bridge with a honduras mahogany neck for added stability. Beautiful ebony wood top and back binding with a classy rope marquetry rosette for added aesthetic appeal. 14 fret joint to the body with 21 overall frets to the soundhole and a bone nut and saddle set up. Planetary geared tuners with a 4:1 ratio for precise tuning.

Very warm and rich tones all the way up the neck. Excellent clarity and sustain. The overall center balance of the instrument is also wonderful and is easy to cradle up against your body when playing. The previous owner installed buttons for a shoulder strap as can be seen in the photos below. There is some strum wear over the upper bout on the soundboard but overall the instrument is in wonderful original condition. If you’re looking for a great player uke at a great price this one is perfect!

This beauty really sings and has excellent volume and incredible sustain. The low tones are nice and long and crisp and balanced on the high end as well. Now is your chance to have a phenomenal player instrument from one of Hawaii’s best hidden secret luthiers.
