This Custom Vento Tenor Ukulele has its face, back, and sides handcrafted of a beautiful set of curly Hawaiian Koa wood, handpicked on the Island of Hawai’i. The neck has been carved from solid Honduran mahogany wood for added stability and increased sustain on the instrument. The fretboard was radiused giving the player more comfort when holding bar chords and playing higher up on the neck. It was crafted of a musicians set of Macassar Ebony wood and bound with Hawaiian Koa for ease of play and a smooth though as you slide your hands up and down the neck. Macassar Ebony wood bridge and curly Hawaiian Koa wood headstock plate. Classic tie-bridge construction. Beautiful ‘Vento’ Rosewood logo inlay on the headstock with Hawaiian Koa wood position markers on 5, 7, 10, and 12 in keeping with the theme of the instrument. A simple and elegant look with the red and brown hues of the Hawaiian Koa wood. Open-geared Grover tuners and a 14:1 gear ratio for precise tuning. Bone nut and saddle and a high gloss poreless nitrocellulose finish. Passive pick up for quick plug and play.
