1960s Martin 3M Soprano Ukulele

Circa 1960s. Vintage Martin 3M Ukulele. Here is a very rare 1960’s Martin 3M (Mahogany Model) Soprano Ukulele handcrafted in Nazareth, PA. Classic mahogany face, back and sides with celluloid binding on top and back –  discoloration on the binding as the instrument aged over the last 60+ years. Ebony fretboard and C.F. Martin & Co decal on headstock. There is also a C.F. Martin & Co stamp on the inside of the soundhole as well.

Minor play wear but overall in wonderful original condition. The is not the reissue uke that has somewhat flooded the market. It is an authentic vintage Martin uke with all appointments of a wonderful uke era with a sound that is far superior to the reissue models. No repairs. No needed repairs. Perfect action and intonation. Nice projection. Deep lows and crisp highs.

A perfect collectible and players ukulele wonderful for both the collector and the recreational musician. ID#200089
