This beautiful custom Lymana tenor ukulele boasts a master grade Pacific Northwest Redwood soundboard for great clarity and a nice warm tone with a perfectly quarter sawn back and sides set of East-Indian Rosewood, giving this instrument exceptional low end and mid-range. An elegant top and back binding give the instrument an subtle contrast to the natural hues of the East-Indian Rosewood used on this beautiful ukulele. The neck has been carved from Spanish Cedar and includes a graphite truss rod for added structural integrity and sustain. Macassar Ebony wood fingerboard and bridge with a matching Ebony wood head plate and classic ‘L’ Lymana logo in mother-of-pearl. Slotted headstock with Gold Schertler tuners and black buttons for smooth and precise tuning. Classy abalone shell rosette with red-black purfling lines and side position markers on positions 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, and 15 for quick player reference from a top-down perspective. High gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish on the body with a satin style finish on the neck for smooth play up and down the fingerboard. Zigzag backstop and matching end graft.
The East-Indian Rosewood back and sides, combined with the Pacific Northwest Redwood soundboard give this instrument a wide breath of tones with an excellent low end and mid-range and a nice warm tone all together.
