This beautiful custom Lymana baritone ukulele boasts a master grade Cedar wood soundboard for great clarity and mid to high range tones with a back and sides set of Hawaiian Mango wood. Simple Rosewood top and back binding give the instrument a nice contrast to the wood grain used on this beautiful ukulele. The neck has been carved from Spanish Cedar and includes a graphite truss rod for added structural integrity and sustain. Macassar Ebony wood fingerboard and bridge with a matching Ebony wood head plate and classic ‘L’ Lymana logo in mother-of-pearl. Professional Grover closed-geared tuners and polished buttons for smooth and precise tuning. Elegant abalone shell rosette and matching position markers on positions 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, and 15 for quick player reference. The instrument has been refinished and has a new coat of high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish on the body. No repairs. No needed repairs.
The Mango wood back and sides, combined with the Cedar wood top, give this instrument a deep resonant tone with a wide breath and range. Nice crisp and clean tones all the way up the neck with deep lows with a nice balanced mid-rage and crispy high notes as well. The tones are absolutely wonderful on this piece ~ very rich and complex all the way up the neck with excellent clarity, wonderful sustain and excellent projection as well.
All of Lyman’s ukuleles are meticulously crafted from the finest materials and with stunning attention to detail. They are amongst the most sought after ukuleles and yet some of the most difficult to acquire. A true work of art aesthetically with some of the cleanest luthiery techniques employed by the 21st century ukulele luthier.
