This Custom Ana`ole CA-1 Superconcert Ukulele comes complete with gorgeous Hawaiian Koa wood face, back and sides. In addition, this beauty boasts a simple abalone shell rosette around the soundhole and professional Grover open-geared machine tuners for precision tuning less all the weight of a traditional closed-geared tuner. Rosewood fretboard and bridge and Honduran mahogany neck for added stability. The neck is a 17” tenor scale (from nut to saddle) with a concert sized body. Gloss nitrocelluloise finish. Excellent tonal qualities. Intonation is dead on and perfect balance, crisp highs and deep lows. Excellent sustain on each chord.
Ana`ole Ukuleles typically sell for $1350-$3250 depending on the model. This is the newest addition to the family, the CA-1 superconcert, handcrafted with the ‘player’ in mind and with simple elegance and all the tonal qualities one would want from an Ana`ole at a fraction of the price.
Gareth is one of the custom instrument builders who apprenticed under G-String Ukulele Co. for a number of years, working on many of the semi-custom and full custom instruments at the time. He now handcrafts his own instruments under the label of Ana`ole Ukuleles for your enjoyment.
