All Hawaiian Koa wood construction: face, back, sides, with a rosewood fretboard and bridge. 14 fret joint to the neck with 18 overall frets to the sound hole. Plays incredibly well with a traditional Kamaka sound and exceptional projection. Intonation is set perfectly and string action is also set up well.  Passive pick up for quick plug and play for the weekend enthusiast or professional musician.

Kamaka Ohta-san ukes are highly sought after and vary in scale across specific time periods. This one is a 15 inch scale length from the nut to saddle to it’s perfect for both men and women, being a concert scale. The accented lower bout and raised waistline add to embellished low notes.
