Extremely wonderful Kamaka curly Koa tenor ukulele from 2004. This gorgeous tenor ukulele has an upgrade to curly Koa and is a joy to play from one of the most sought after makers of the ukulele, Kamaka ukuleles of Hawaii.
The face, back, and sides are handcrafted from gorgeous curly Hawaiian Koa wood and this instrument also boasts a Honduran mahogany neck and a Rosewood fretboard and bridge. Nice projection and sustain with nice warm and traditional Kamaka tones. Intonation is set well and ease of play is absolutely wonderful on this instrument. Center balanced in terms of overall weight of the instrument which makes it easy to cradle as well. Highly recommended ukulele that is a wonderful player instrument.
Overall this instrument is in amazing original condition but it does have some very minor play wear. See photos for more details. The fingerboard has some white residue in it from buffing out the frets. The residue appears exaggerated in the photo but is less apparent when seen in person. Wonderful tones with great sustain, projection, and clarity.
