1980s Kamaka Ohta-san Ukulele

Rare 1980s Kamaka Ohta-san concert ukulele. All Hawaiian Koa wood construction: face, back, sides, fretboard and bridge. Rosewood top binding, white label era with a 14-fret joint to the neck. Plays incredibly well with great projection. Intonation is set perfectly and string action is also set up well. There are a couple very faint hairlines on the back that are merely surface in nature and certainly do not go through the wood but should be disclosed. These can only be seen under close inspection with good lighting and even at that they can only be detected when looking closely at an angle.

The uke is in all original condition. Includes original hard case with yellow plush lining. Case has writing on inside cover of previous owner. A great player piece in all original condition and perfect for both the player and collector.
