(C.2002). Preowned. Beautiful and meticulously made Custom Graziano ‘Hulacaster’ Tenor Ukulele handcrafted in Santa Cruz, CA by legendary luthier Tony Graziano . Tony has been building musical instruments since 1969 and ukuleles, specifically, since 1978. He has since transitioned away from guitars to primarily focus on his passion for handcrafted ukuleles since 1995 almost exclusively. His instruments are world renowned and his instruments are loved by musicians and recreational ukulele players throughout the world, but especially those here in the USA and Japan.

This gorgeous custom Graziano ‘Hulacaster’ tenor ukulele was styled after the classic Fender Telecaster guitar and handcrafted of a beautiful set of European Maple wood back and sides with an Italian spruce soundboard. European Maple wood neck, Brazilian Rosewood fretboard and bridge, and a high gloss lacquer with toner to give it that classic telecaster feel. Fender inspired headstock with string guides are a few of the detail-oriented characteristics on this beautiful and functional piece of art. Mother-of-pearl shell ‘Graziano’ inlay position markers on positions 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, and 19. Rare 16 fret joint to the body for extended reach in the higher positions on the neck. Professional Grover closed-geared tuners for smooth and precise tuning. Minor play wear and use. Overall excellent condition.

A wonderful tone with great clarity, projection, and a classic brightness of a Maple wood and spruce combination that everyone loves.
