Custom Moore Bettah Ukulele – ‘Owl’ inlay. Beautiful custom tenor ukulele handcrafted by master luthier Chuck Moore of the Big Island, HI. Chuck handcrafts some of not only the most aesthetically pleasing ukuleles available on the market but also professional recording level instruments for both the professional musician and recreational player.

This wonderful tenor ukulele is crafted from gorgeous Hawaiian AAA curly Koa wood top, back, and sides, macassar ebony fretboard, bridge, top and back binding, end graph, heel cap and headstock veneer. The neck is carved from cedar wood for added stability and is carbon fiber reinforced and stained with a darker hue of reddish brown to compliment the gorgeous Koa wood body of the instrument. The top and back have elegant black-white purfling for classic appeal and an abalone rosette around the soundhole.

Stunning `Pueo` or `Hawaiian owl` inlay of scrimshaw, abalone shell, mother-of-pearl, and Hawaiian curly koa on headstock. Paua shell fretboard position markers on 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, and 15 with a triple dot inlay on position 12. Planetary 4:1 geared tuners for elegant, smooth, and precise tuning. Ebony wood nut and bone saddle. Mohawk lacquer high gloss finish. Professional Mi-Si pick-up with quick charge adaptor for speedy plug-n-play and hours of enjoyment.

Rich and complex tones with excellent sustain, clarity, and projection. Side port for monitor-like clarity and projection. The instrument is very well balanced tonally all the way up the neck and spot on intonation as well. Highly recommended player piece. This is as good as it gets!
