This beautiful Kamaka ukulele boasts a gorgeous set of Hawaiian Koa wood on the face, back, and sides. 14-fret joint to the body with 18 overall frets to the soundhole. Jet black musicians grade Gabon Ebony wood fingerboard, bridge and a Hawaiian Koa wood headstock plate in keeping with the elegant theme of the instrument. Gorgeous Rosewood top binding and a subtle top purfling line. Rope marquetry soundboard inlay and matching rope marquetry rosette. Solid Honduras mahogany wood neck for added stability with a classic Kamaka headstock crown design. Professional geared tuners for smooth and precise tuning. Nitrocellulose gloss finish. Overall, excellent condition. However, there is an impression in the finish on the back of the headstock from a tuner. It is difficult to photograph but can be felt when running your finger over the back of the headstock in the center of all four tuners. It is purely cosmetic and does not impact the tone or structural integrity of the instrument.

Tonally, this is a classic Kamaka sound with a nice warm tone, wonderful clarity, and projection. A highly recommended players ukulele and collectible piece from Hawaii’s most famous ukulele maker, Kamaka ukuleles. ID#190003
