Rare find! Classic era ‘purple label’ custom G-String concert Ukulele of G-String Ukulele Co.

Handcrafted of gorgeous Hawaiian Koa wood, the face, back and sides, are crafted with AAA curly Koa wood. The neck is carved from honduran mahogany for added stability. The fretboard and bridge are fashioned from rosewood. The instrument boasts a abalone shell rosette and matching abalone top purfling on soundboard. Single top faux tortoise shell binding for aesthetic appeal. Elegant G-String Ukulele Co. paua shell inlay on the headstock and paua shell position markers on 5, 7, and 10. The instrument also classic Grover friction tuners and a gloss nitrocellulose finish.

Excellent playability and wonderful sustain. The tones and clarity are absolutely amazing on this instrument. Nice deep lows with well balanced mid-range and crisp highs all the way up the neck. The string action is set very well and makes the instrument a true joy to play.
